iOS uses Apple’s Screen Time shield. Android opens Purposly’s own intent gate. Same idea — pick why you’re here — different look.

iOS first
On iPhone, opening an active app shows the system shield. Choose intention or More options, then continue into the app.
Then Android
Android does not use Apple’s shield. Opening an active app brings you into Purposly: pick an intention, set check-in time, then Continue to that app.
How it works
Tap Messages, Instagram, or any active app. Instead of opening straight in, you see the shield: “What are you here for?”
Each active app has its own setup. You decide how long you can use it before Purposly checks in.
Home counts how many times you chose an intention and continued. Those are check-ins.
Each shield intention you continue with is a check-in for that app.
Intentions are short lines you choose before an app opens — learn something, plan a trip, connect with a friend.
The words you’ll see
The pause over an active app. You pick an intention — or More options — before it opens.
Why you’re opening the app. The three on the shield come from that app’s setup.
Counted when you continue from the shield. Later, a reminder asks if you’re still here for that reason.
How long you can use the app after continuing before Purposly reminds you.
